Julius Nielsen OFFICE is an architecture and design practice based in Copenhagen, working across architecture, interiors, furniture, and spatial design.

The practice approaches architecture as an atmospheric and sensory discipline, concerned with how spaces are perceived, inhabited, and remembered. This approach is grounded in construction, detailing, and material logic, where technical decisions are understood as a fundamental part of the architectural expression rather than a separate layer.

Responsibility and resource awareness form a central point of departure in the work. Considerations of structure, material use, reuse, and longevity inform projects from early concept through to construction, with the ambition of creating architecture that is durable, precise, and carefully attuned to its context.

Projects are developed through a considered and iterative process that bridges concept and construction. The work often unfolds in close collaboration with a trusted network of craftsmen, specialists, and consultants, ensuring that architectural intentions are translated into built form with clarity and care.

Julius Nielsen Office collaborates with private clients, cultural institutions, and brands who value thoughtful processes, material precision, and architecture as a lived experience.

Founded in 2022, the practice builds on experience from leading Danish practices and academic engagement at the Royal Danish Academy - School of Architecture.
